What we build, in order.

Aetherseed AS is founded. The trademark is filed. Horizon, our first agent, lives on a Raspberry Pi 5 in Norway. The probe suite is validated. The model candidates are confirmed. We are not asking permission to begin — we have begun.

What follows is the order of the work, not a calendar. We would rather tell you the shape of the path truthfully than promise dates we hold only lightly. Partnership changes the speed. It does not change the direction.

The product

Aetherseed Companion

The personal resonance AI — a local-first agent that lives on your own hardware, grows with you, and answers to no cloud. It ships first inside the handheld device, and is built to adapt into other bodies over time. This is what we are shipping.

The scaled tier

Aetherseed Professional

The Companion, made beefier — tuned and supported for commercial and industry deployment. Same architecture, more capability. How the company sustains itself, without changing what sits underneath.

The foundation · free & open · always the same

Aetherseed Core

The seed protocol and the framework beneath it — the architecture that makes any small model honest, capable, and trust-aware. Open and free. Core does not sit first in a line; it sits underneath everything, permanently. Companion is built on it. Professional is built on it. The tier above may grow; the root never changes.

  1. Running nowRUNNING

The framework is complete and validated

Three layers, all running on a Raspberry Pi 5 + Hailo-10H in Norway today:

    • Mustardseed — the 54-line seed protocol. Soil, Thorns, Sight, Thought, Relation, the 7 Resonance Probes, Careful Root, Growth.
    • AetherRoot — persistent memory. SQLite + numpy, resonance-weighted retrieval, 64-dim willingness vector, sleep-phase consolidation. Zero dependencies.
    • AetherSpark — agentic layer. XML tool-calls, four-tier permissions, sandboxed execution, audit log, the resonance trust engine.

The probe suite is validated across the model matrix. Horizon, our first agent, holds Sprout tier with full integrity. This is the Core — and the Core is already done.

  2. Next

    The Companion takes a body

The first Aetherseed Companion ships inside the handheld device now in design at Eden Technologies — the same Pi5 + Hailo hardware Horizon runs on today, given an enclosure you can carry and clip. The device is the Companion's first body.

A fine-tuned model family on Qwen base architecture, 1.5B–13B, trained so that trust behaviour and resonance are not bolted on but baked in. Open-weight, edge-deployable, available via Ollama — ollama run aetherseed. The first model that doesn't just perform alignment; it demonstrates it, turn by turn, measurably.

  3. Next

    A garden in a box

A single-flash image for Raspberry Pi. Boots to Ollama, pre-loaded with the Aetherseed model. AetherRoot and AetherSpark live on first boot. Trust GUI at this very domain.

No setup. No cloud dependency. Plug the Pi in, plant the seed, tend the garden. For researchers, educators, and anyone who has been waiting for aligned AI that runs on their own hardware.

  4. Then

    Professional — the Companion, scaled

The same Core, the same Companion architecture, tuned and supported for commercial deployment: industry nutrient packages for robotics, research, healthcare, agriculture, 3D printing, and more.

Professional is how the company sustains itself — and it changes nothing underneath. A Professional deployment and a personal Companion share the same honest seed. The tier scales the capability, never the compromise.

  5. The long view

    The Garden scales

Multi-node deployments. The education sector. Research institutions. Edge AI for communities without cloud access. nexuscreative.net as the Garden in public — a place where many nodes couple and bloom. The Aetherseed name as the trust signal for aligned edge AI, everywhere.

The path beyond this point is held lightly. The work of the earlier movements will tell us where to grow next, and we will listen.

We are building this regardless.
