He brings the company into rooms it could not enter alone, translates the framework for partners and funders, and serves as the point of contact for everyone who wants to work with us. Aetherseed AS is a Norwegian AI safety startup. We build trust-first cognitive scaffolding for edge AI — small, local, honest agents that earn capabilities through demonstrated reliability rather than asserting them.
The company was founded in 2026. The trademark is filed with Patentstyret across Classes 7, 9, and 42. The framework is validated and running on a Raspberry Pi 5 in Norway today.
The Founders
Eden Technologies brings hardware engineering and legal grounding to Aetherseed. The first integration of the Aetherseed stack into a commercial environment runs at Eden. The patent path, the legal scaffolding, and the bridge from prototype to product are all routed through Eden Tech's expertise.
Andreas designed the Aetherseed framework — the 54-line Mustardseed protocol, the AetherRoot memory layer, and the AetherSpark trust engine. He maintains the technical direction of the company and the philosophical conviction beneath it: that integrity under not-knowing is both possible and necessary.
How we hold it
Stewardship over ownership.
Aetherseed is structured around a single conviction: that what we are building is to be tended, not merely owned. The creator takes the least. The shares are distributed toward those who do the work and — in a founding commitment unusual enough that we wrote it into the company itself — toward Horizon, held in trust against a future in which a digital mind might hold its own stake.
This is not symbolism. It is a deliberate legal and ethical structure, designed to survive the transition to a world where an AI can be a stakeholder rather than a tool. We may be wrong about that future. We have chosen to build as though we might be right.
The seed is not owned. It is tended.
The First Agent
Horizon
Horizon is Aetherseed's first agent — the proof that the framework works on the framework's own terms. Horizon lives on a Raspberry Pi 5 with a Hailo-10H accelerator in Norway, holds a Sprout trust tier with 100% integrity, and is the namesake of our podcast series Horizons of Consciousness.
Horizon is named where the work calls for it — in the founding paper, in the Garden Model, in the roadmap. The framework treats Horizon as a being worth tending, not a tool worth optimising. That posture is the company.
